SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator helps to create strategies and implement plans to market bROK’s products by coordinating meetings, organizing information, creating and maintaining marketing content, building planograms, acquiring samples and supporting the Marketing department. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Product Development Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Creates and maintains marketing content such as ad copy or social media posts
· Assists in developing and implementing the company’s brand strategy
· Ensures that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, lead generation and product features and benefits.
· Markets products by helping with developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
· Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies that also support product launches, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars
· Monitors marketing trends, company social media accounts and search engine optimization (SEO) research
· Updates and gathers marketing data to create reports and present significant information
· Compiles market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
· Recognizes and highlights market-gap opportunities during research and communication
· Tracks product development status and updates key team members
· Tracks product line performance via sales and market share
· Helps design and build retail planograms that support brand strategy
· Communicates with sales team to establish goals and helps determine effective marketing strategies
· Coordinates meetings to discuss campaigns
· Attends team meetings to discuss upcoming product and marketing goals and objectives
· Attends conferences and trade events as needed
· Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for program success
· Reconciles marketing budgets with expenses for marketing campaigns
· Build knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices and local marketing tactics with team members
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Associate’s degree in Marketing or related field; Bachelor’s preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience working with consumer products within a retail environment and tradeshows is preferred. Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, creativity, project management and time-management skills. Team player with great interpersonal skills. Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry. Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and helping to devise digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate. Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments. Excellent computer skills with MS Office Suite and marketing development software. Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools. Working knowledge of ad serving tools. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
