Marketing Coordinator

SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating and assisting with the implementation of various marketing communication assignments. Supports the Marketing Department by organizing, researching, creating, and maintaining traditional, and digital marketing material.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with research and creation of internal and external marketing-related content; may be required to write original content or edit existing content.
• Tracks status of marketing-related projects.
• Follows guidelines to produce, and distribute reports for email blasts and nurture campaigns.
• Maintains knowledge of key social media tools, best practices, and emerging trends to optimize social medial presence and online reputation through engaging posts, regular monitoring, and analysis.
• Responsible for coordinating ongoing projects related to regular social media communications for leadership materials according to the Marketing Department calendar.
• Catalogues and supports thought leadership resource materials, ensuring version control process is followed and documented.
• Maintains editorial media list for various publications within Cision public relations software.
• Maintains library of news release and media opportunity checklists, providing metrics reports following Public Relations news releases.
• Complies with established procedures to coordinate survey and awards submissions.
• Performs general proofreading support for written content.
• Provides administrative support as needed, including routine office tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two (2) or more years of marketing, or related experience
Experience with drafting marketing content
Experience with maintaining company social media sites to create brand awareness and increase followers
Project management software (Asana preferred)
PR software (Cision preferred)
Experience with Sprout Social
SKILLS
Expertise with driving social media strategy and executing social media programs
Proficiency in Google Analytics
High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid project management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-moving environment
Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates within the organization
