WEAVE, founded in 1978, is Sacramento’s primary provider of services supporting domestic and sexual violence survivors. The organization offers 24/7 support and response, an emergency safehouse program, counseling, legal services, and much more to some of the most vulnerable members of Sacramento’s many communities. WEAVE has grown significantly in recent years, expanding services and capacity to meet community needs. The Role:
The Community Engagement Coordinator works closely with the Philanthropy team, WEAVE colleagues, committee members, and other volunteers to achieve revenue goals and create memorable experiences for diverse individuals, groups, and businesses within our community who support the agency and the survivors it serves. The Community Engagement Coordinator will oversee WEAVE’s fundraising events, serves as the point of contact for Community Partner Events that benefit WEAVE, support internal events and meetings, and manage volunteers. The Community Engagement Coordinator will thrive on managing multiple projects with a strong attention to detail, match the energy of those who work for and come to WEAVE with new and different ideas, and work to create meaningful opportunities for engagement for volunteers.
Compensation:
The starting pay range for this position is $24.46 to 27.89/hr.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5PM, with some evenings and weekends as needed.
