Are you seeking a career in Public Health? Summit County Public Health is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. TheMarketing Coordinator organizes all marketing tickets, creates media and postings to promote agency programs and updates agency owned websites. This position also provides support to the Office of the Health Commissioner by coordinating Board of Health schedules and documentation.
Job Duties
- Organize and complete marketing tickets
- Provide assistance and feedback to program staff on marketing concepts
- Create media content for programs as requested
- Maintain and update content on agency websites
- Serve as PIO backup to Community Liaison
- Work with staff to maintain deadlines for Board of Health monthly meeting documentation
- Receive and combine documentation for monthly Board of Health meeting agenda
- Post information to Board of Health website as needed
- Monitor Board Member terms, CEU compliance, and committee rosters/schedules
- Maintain current member lists for DAC, Board of Health, Mayors, etc.
- Assist with organizing Board of Health events (annual retreat, DAC meeting, TASC meeting)
- Attend monthly Board of Health meetings
- Assist Health Commissioner with Board of Health and Division tasks
- Complete annual goals and training as outlined in Employee Performance Evaluation Plan
- Must possess strong moral character and dedication to serving the underserved
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other
- agencies, and the public
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and possess strong organization skills
- Must possess integrity, sense of responsibility, independent judgment, and maintain confidentiality
- Must communicate effectively and accurately both verbally and in writing
- Works a set schedule to meet the needs of the program, division and agency
- Performs job duties under the regulations, policies and procedures set forth by Summit County Public Health and outside agencies such as the County Fiscal Officer, Ohio Department of Health, and state and federal government
- Performs any other duties as required for the efficient operation of Summit County Public Health
- Obliges, as set forth by the Summit County Public Health Emergency Operations Plan and within the scope of their employment, to be available for emergency service during routine and non-routine hours of operation including 24/7/365 availability. May be required to have medical clearance for respiratory protection or other personal protective equipment, and may be exposed to inclement weather, extreme temperatures, unpleasant smells or odors, dust, dirt, fumes, airborne particles, pesticides, toxins or caustic chemicals.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public health related field.
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Current valid Ohio driver's license, automobile availability and insurance coverage.
Working Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee typically works in a normal office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office. However, in the event of an emergency situation, the work environment can change to outdoors during inclement weather and may require physical endurance.
