Marketing Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Coordinator to join our Creative Marketing team in New York City. In this role you will play an integral part in Britannica’s marketing content, with an emphasis on product photography and Video,  and contribute strategically and tactically to the success of our seasonal campaigns. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinate the activities to develop marketing assets for seasonal campaigns.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Design to maintain development timelines for photography and video assets.
• Work with our overseas staff, photography studios and video producers to ensure all technical needs are clearly communicated and schedules are built and adhered to appropriately.

Creative Project Management

• Research photographers and media companies, archive imagery; assist with preparation of presentations, multi-media needs.
• Organize the proper placement and usage information for all assets created and licensed.
• Maintain visual library and digital databases of images and shoot props.
• A supporting role in coordinating photography shoots with internal and external photographers and relevant vendors

Required Qualifications:

• College degree
• 3+ years professional experience in marketing, graphics, home product development or photography production.
• Fluency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional standard of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with exceptional analytical and deductive skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The ability to work alone with minimal direction, while quickly integrating with the team
• Ability to understand technical, artistic and design related issues, with the skills to clearly distill and communicate issues to key stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge and passion for brands
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite a plus
