We are looking for a passionate, detail oriented current college student to join our team in New York City as a Showroom Coordinator Intern. This intern would work on a part time basis, up to 25 hours per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. This is a PAID internship and can also be completed for school credit.
This position is a summer position, with preference given to those that can continue on a semester-basis.
Overview: Showroom Coordinator Intern
Your primary responsibility is to maintain the organization of the showroom and assist with fittings, appointments, and general tasks.
Responsibilities
- Receive and distribute packages
- Unpack dresses and steam
- Send packages to factories
- Keep track of samples in storage
- Organize based on season/delivery date
- Ensure proper hangers
- Dress for production fittings
- Dress fit model/re-hang dresses
- Call out any zipper/hook & eye closure errors
- Dress for market appointments
- Dress model/re-hang dresses
- Assist with photoshoots
- Update organizational software system: ApparelMagic
- Miscellaneous/Ad-hoc tasks
Hours
- Internship duration: July 15 – August 30, Preference to candidates that can continue throughout the school semester.
- Dates: Part time, Hourly - Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-3:00pm with extension on ad-hoc basis.
