About Us
New York Hemp Oil started as a small vegetable farm in Upstate New York 12 years ago has blossomed into a trailblazer in the emerging NYS cannabis industry—we’ve grown to become licensed cannabis farmers and processors, producing dozens of products for our in-house brands, all while honoring our history rooted in regenerative farming and building up community. We still grow the best certified organic veggies around and sell them through our CSA and at farmers’ markets.
At our roots, we are vegetable farmers who believe that our natural environment and all of its bounties are what truly sustain each and every one of us. We take pride in building our team around career-minded individuals that understand the importance of environmental and economic sustainability and social impact. As organic farmers first, we are aware of how profoundly all of these systems interact to affect the future of our business and our planet. That’s why our farm is Certified Organic, our employees are paid living wages, our products are ethically sourced and ethically priced, and our values are quality and transparency at every stage of the business.
We value diversity and inclusion in everything we do, including hiring staff. We are committed to a workforce with a diversity of abilities, backgrounds, and cultures.
Our Team
Our team is a fast-moving and extremely hard-hitting lineup of both thinkers and doers. We expect excellence from ourselves and each other, and we’re always pushing the envelope to do a better job today than we did yesterday. We’re serious about becoming a leader in the cannabis industry, and we know our small little farm will have an outsized impact on the NYS cannabis culture.
