Brooklyn SolarWorks is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our growing company. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for social media management, content creation, and creative development. This position will play a crucial role in growing our online presence and promoting brand awareness through the development of engaging, informative digital content. The individual must be up-to-date with social media marketing trends, possess strong writing skills, and a good eye for creating engaging visual media. They will be required to provide support to the Marketing Manager on all departmental matters.
Responsibilities:
Manage all social channels (including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn), maintain a calendar for upcoming content, and interact with our following.
Create engaging visual content around solar energy and sustainability in NYC, to promote our brand, position us as a thought-leader, and support lead generation and sales enablement.
Conduct regular reporting on all platforms to plan content and measure engagement metrics, using learnings to continually improve and find new opportunities for audience growth.
Regularly attend events and visit project sites to produce social media content in realtime and take high quality photo/video to support branding and content creation efforts.
Maintain an internal library of digital assets, including branded materials, photo, and video.
Use tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and Figma to retouch photos, edit videos, and create graphics, ensuring adherence to our brand and style guidelines.
Assist SEO efforts by writing search-optimized blogs and creating posts on Google My Business, Yelp, and other business listings.
Stay abreast of trends in social media, as well as the activities of competitors, to continually strategize how to evolve our brand voice and storytelling.
Use Asana to manage tasks, update the central marketing calendar, and communicate with team members about projects.
Collaborate with the Manager and Specialist to create cohesive, impactful omnichannel campaigns.
Provide support to the Manager as needed with general marketing tasks and special projects.
Carry out additional duties as required by the Marketing Manager.
