Marketing Content Creator

The Marketing Content Creator (MCC) will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s overall brand strategy. The MCC will coordinate and develop marketing policies, programs, and campaigns. This position is responsible for planning, managing, and executing marketing efforts via print materials and at in person events. The MCC will provide overall guidance as it relates to brand creation and maintenance.

Duties include and are not limited to:

• Creating newsletters (CSP monthly and agency quarterly)
• Completing all Facebook messaging/ responding and service postings on social media
• Update service brochure as needed going forward
• Attend fairs/ community events to promote services
• Assist with maintaining digital sign freshness
• Connect with local hospitals, schools to market services
• Create marketing materials (flyers, brochures, social media ads/posts, and other)
• Manage & attend agency events such as Trunk or Treat, Festival of Trees, Holiday Giving Tree & other charitable activities
• Order marketing supplies
• Maintain current service flyers/ announcements around all offices
• Spearhead marketing campaigns with Mix Maine media and other radio/ TV/ streaming entities
• Think outside the box for creative campaigns to market the agency
• Collaborate with various agency departments to coordinate events/ fairs/ materials
• Editing/ proofing agency documents for grammar/ spelling
• Taking photos at agency events
• Updating What’s Happening (in the community) on agency website each month
• Growing and maintaining a presence on LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook
• Performing other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine driver’s license are required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Minimum of two years of marketing experience is required
• High level of attention to detail
