This position requires at least 1 year experience as an RN in an electrophysiology or cardiac catherization lab and training in discontinue arterial and venous lines. 1 year experience in critical care cardiac rhythms basic 12 lead EKG interpretation and cardiac hemodynamics and an IABP Certification is preferred. Candidates must have a current California RN License ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association.
The incumbent provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally.
