Position Summary
The Public Relations Specialist is an incredible opportunity at MultiCare, providing creative, proactive and forward-thinking support for the marketing department. This dynamic position will allow you to navigate and monitor media and news, maintain key media relationships and produce high-quality written materials and content.Responsibilities
- You will assist with all areas of MultiCare’s communications and PR activities, including content development, press releases, media monitoring and list building, coverage reports, award submissions, and presentations
- You will keep and organize the PR database
- You will respond to information requests from the media if needed
- You will liaise between patient and media
- You will analyze various niches and verticals (as well as competition within them)
- You will scrutinize websites and identifies linkable assets
- You will develop custom PR strategies and tactics (based on analysis) for maximum efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, English, journalism, or related field
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in public relations and/or communications

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $80,517.00 - $115,877.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
