Role:
To provide administrative support to the marketing department by assisting with programs for marketing activities of the credit union, and assisting with coordinating the efforts of marketing and sales toward the accomplishment of overall objectives.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
E 30% Serves as the administrator for the company intranet by managing the overall visual design and site navigation. Creates department pages from content provided by department leads. As needed, makes edits to content and builds new features/modules. Provides training to staff as needed.
E 25% Creates educational/informational content that can be shared with members. Content can be Natco-specific, industry-specific, or simply informational consumer tips and information.
E 20% Plans and executes social media strategies for a variety of platforms to increase our social media presence and credit union awareness. Creates and schedules engaging content. Monitors and responds to customer inquiries and comments or shares information with experts for guidance or a warm handoff. Measures results of social media efforts by tracking metrics and insights on each platform.
E 10% Coordinates and manages sponsorship requests. Maintains and manages all aspects of approved sponsorships to ensure the credit union investment is maximized.
E 5% Coordinates and manages orders for employee-related items such as business cards, logo wear, and other items as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
E 5% Leads brand management projects as assigned.
N 5% Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. Accomplish all assigned projects, ensuring all communications are accurate, timely and within budget guidelines. Keep management informed of any problematic areas.
2. Assist Director in providing direction and recommendations to management, based on current research data, regarding market strategies and directions the credit union should take.
3. Provide informed, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
4. Ensure assigned reports and approved sponsorship tasks are accurately prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
5. To maintain an overall attendance record of not more than 7 unscheduled absences.
6. Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of overall and department-specific credit union standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations to ensure compliance.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills Strong organizational skills. Word processing skills. Good communication and analytical skills. General PC skills in spreadsheets, data base, graphing and report generation. Strong written communication skills. Skills in working with various social media platforms.
Physical Requirements Sedentary work. Sitting at a desk/work station for long periods of time.Working for extended periods of time as necessary to accomplish objective, goals and projects. Visual acuity for analyzing data and figures; viewing computer monitor; extensive reading. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands and/or fingers. Reading documents and procedures necessary to the daily performance of essential functions. Operating standard office equipment, including a personal computer, telephone and photocopier. Occasionally lifting boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Driving personal vehicle and traveling for moderate periods of time.
Work Environment Work environment is that of a typical office environment. Work is conducted at a counter style work station. Overhead lighting is sufficient. Noise level is normal.
