Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a temporary Marketing Assistant to join our team and assist with the day to day operations of the marketing & communications department. You'll staff community events, develop internal and external communications, and review and update social media and websites, just to start! The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, a problem solver, and ready to help when & where it's needed. You should have an aptitude for technology, including Microsoft Office suite and Adobe or Photoshop, and you should feel comfortable working at a quick pace that matches the environment. Weekend and evening hours will be required to prepare for and to staff community events.

What you'll need:
- High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Some college required.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office suite and applications with emphasis on PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Experience with website editing and/or building strongly preferred.
- Visual software capabilities preferred: Adobe InDesign or Photoshop.
- Weekend and evening hours required
Schedule: Temporary from June-August; 30-32 hours/week including weekends; on site
Responsibilities:
- Supports routing of internal and external communication requests.
- Creates marketing kits for external events and attends external events when appropriate, including on weekends.
- Develops internal memos for a variety of critical topics.
- Supports development of external communications including drafting press releases, presentations, blog posts, podcast questions, etc.
- Prepares and schedules meeting rooms (room arrangement, equipment).
- Supports evaluation of the website to identify issues (broken links, spelling errors). Reviews for readability, consistency, and aesthetics.
- Assists with departmental projects, including SharePoint site updates and maintenance.
- Responds to various requests and inquiries from Hospital management, staff, and public in a timely manner.
