Salary $80k/year
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for planning and implementing all of organization???s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal
-Oversee development and implementation of support materials and services for multiple lines of service in the area of marketing, communications and public relations.
-Provide staff leadership and support as executive director for the Foundation
-Plan and execute organization's fundraising strategies and activities through the Foundation.
-Promote participation and provide training of Foundation and Corporate board members for fundraising.
-Grow and ensure the Foundation???s long term sustainability
-Promote and build relationships with current and potential donors
-Lead the board through development of strategic planning
-Develop and maintain fundraising policies and procedures
-Develop and maintain the Foundation Board Member handbook
-Prepare and help facilitate regular board meetings
-Plan and promote annual giving and appeals for support of special projects
-Coordinate fundraising events such as the annual Friends of Pioneer Harvest Dinner
-Present information to donors to consider support through legacy giving
-Retain connections with potential granting organizations and research grant opportunities
-Serve as principal grant writer for organization
-Prepare an annual marketing plan and budget with involvement from the CEO and other staff leadership
-Determine appropriate tactics, including traditional media and digital media, for effective communication strategies
-Negotiate with media representatives for strategic placement of advertising
-Oversee all marketing content to ensure adherence to brand guidelines
-Serve as editor for Foundations and other publications

Qualifications:
-Bachelor???s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
-Minimum of 3 years??? experience in nonprofit fundraising
-Training or experience in developing and implementing marketing activities
-Basic understanding of nonprofit organizational culture and philosophy
-Ability to establish and sustain relationships with stakeholders and key community partners
-Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in execution of marketing and communications activities
-Creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
-Experience developing and managing a departmental budget
-Knowledge and appreciation for the concepts of corporate branding
-Experience writing and editing press releases, making presentations, and negotiating with media
-Experience overseeing design and production of print materials and publications
-Commitment to working with a nonprofit board, corporate leadership, and in cross-functional teams
-Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
