LOCATION: Our office is located in Minnetonka, MN. Candidates must reside in the Twin Cities and will be required to be in-office three times per week: Monday & Thursdays are required and another day of choice. You may work remotely, if you wish, two days per week.

Overview
A Business Development Representative (BDR) at RAZR helps to create pipeline and drive growth throughout the company. This person is a motivated and results-driven hunter, someone who loves playing an important part in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive the growth of our company. As a BDR, you will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, and building strong relationships with potential clients. This person is highly motivated, well-spoken/written, and loves to research, build, and supplement the lead pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, a tenacious attitude, and a desire to kick-start their career in Business Development.
What You Love To Do
Conduct sales activities every day (calls and emails per day) to include outbound prospecting, qualifying prospects from lead database, and more with the aim of setting up meetings or presentations
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to help assemble and prioritize strategic target customer lists and to develop and execute prospect communication methods
Schedule marketing assessments and discovery meetings for Account Executives/DMOs to further assess a prospect’s business and potential for partnership
Conduct research to identify potential clients and target industries for business growth
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through consistent prospecting efforts
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for lead generation
Deliver compelling messaging to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our products/services
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities within the company's CRM system
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition of new clients to the account management or sales teams
Continuously refine and improve the outreach strategy based on feedback and outcomes
Qualifications
Strong passion for sales and Business Development, with a desire to build a successful career in this field
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
Resilient and tenacious attitude, comfortable with overcoming objections and rejections
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely follow-ups
Proficiency in using CRM software, ABX software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Prior experience in sales, cold calling, or customer-facing roles is a plus but not required
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
Education & Experience
3-5 year’s experience in Business Development Representative role or similar. Preferred if experience is SaaS-based.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
