Definition The Marketing and Communications Manager will implement marketing plans that include digital, print, broadcast, and outdoor content, client marketing campaigns, and develop marketing initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and engagement with internal and external clients and will lead development of our services to drive and generate increasing revenue that supports the HW mission, programs, and goals.
Roles & Responsibilities Identify internal and external communication opportunities and challenges Develop, with input from CEO and other key staff, annual marketing plan Educate staff on the goals and desired outcomes of the HW marketing program and ensure HW activities are in line with the marketing program and its goals. Provide input and guidance to other departments regarding their communication tools, internal and external. Meet on a regular basis with other departments to evaluate their communication needs and the effectiveness of existing communication strategies.
Manage the development (with key staff as appropriate ex. Outreach Coordinator, ACA enrollment staff) and production of communication materials (brochures, flyers, etc), and other items such as displays. Oversee social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms, etc.), including creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring brand reputation.
Lead social media strategy and content creation through photography, videography, image curation, graphic design, and copywriting. Identify appropriate tools to gather social media data, complete analytics and make recommendations for utilization. With input from other staff, develop and produce regular online newsletter aimed at community stakeholders and donors.
Coordinate website utilizationensure that new and consistent information (article links, stories, and events) are posted regularly. Oversee external website management. In collaboration with other departments, including Human Resources, assist in the development and implementation of an organizational intranet and provide ongoing management of this tool.
Working with team (ex. CEO, CFO,) overseeing development and production of Annual Report. Prepare monthly analytic reports for the Board of Directors.
Develop relationships with local media and help to identify opportunities for engagement with local media and as appropriate reach out to local media seeking engagement opportunities. Serve as HealthWorks spokesperson when needed. Direct community information requests to appropriate staff members.
As appropriate identify opportunities for Press releases and develop draft for review. Work with center managers to identify signage needs and help to produce signs as appropriate. In conjunction with the Donor Engagement manager, work to develop messaging and packaging, with other staff, for annual social media fundraising activity to include GiveChoose and Giving Tuesday.
Participate in meetings as appropriate. Attend community meetings and events as appropriate and provide information about HW and its services. Participate in organizational strategic planning activities.
Attend relevant continuing education events and training as approved by direct supervisor. Perform other related duties as assigned.
