Position Overview
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports all Marketing and Communications activities and strategies to help achieve the organization's communications goals. This position provides support for copywriting and editing, social media, email marketing, and database and administrative support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Function
Social Media Management- 30%
- Develop content and editorial calendar as part of larger communications strategies in partnership with director of strategic communications
- Schedule and maintain content across all platforms
- Regularly engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, posting and reposting content
- Recommend and improve social media processes through automation when possible
Email Marketing Management- 30%
- In partnership with Director of Communication Strategies, develop and plan email marketing content and strategy aligned with organization's communications goals
- Support copywriting, design, and maintain schedule for all email campaigns across the organization
- Track and report on engagement indicators for all emails within given campaigns
Annual Fund Support -15%
- Design and provide digital files for all mailed pieces as part of the annual fund campaigns using Canva and InDesign
- Provide copywriting and copyediting support for all annual fund campaigns, including a mailed piece and email campaigns
Website, tools, and Brand Management -15%
- Create new webpages while keeping consistent branding
- Maintain and update text and images throughout EFMN website
- Ensure all assets in circulation adhere to brand standards, updating as needed and creating new assets to support event and Communications goals
- Become a resource and support for the division using tools and platforms including Salesforce, Form Assembly, Mailchimp, and all social media platforms

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, related field or comparable experience
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design using Canva and InDesign
- Experience managing email marketing platforms: Mailchimp, Constant Contact
- Experience in website management platforms: WordPress
