(Contingent upon available funding): 18.29 - 26.44, Hourly Work Schedule: 20 hours per week Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: This position will provide Marketing and Communications support for the OSU Doel Reed Center (DRC), located in Talpa, New Mexico (adjacent to Taos, New Mexico). This position assists OSU’s Department of Brand Management in elevating the reputation of the Doel Reed Center and increasing engagement with its audiences. The individual in this role will report to the Brand Management Coordinator of Marketing Strategy and support the Doel Reed Center Director. Duties will include writing website content, stories, social media content, gathering and writing content for monthly email marketing, updating the DRC website and assisting with event coordination. This position will be stationed in New Mexico; a hybrid schedule consisting of remote and on-site work is expected.Detailed roles and responsibilities include:Create and execute DRC e-mails and digital communicationWrite and prepare website updates and maintenance, including regular auditsManage social media content to promote classes, lectures and events happening at the DRCSubmit events and lectures to the OSU calendar to increase awarenessAssist in event coordination on an as-needed basisPrepare content and media for print or digital marketing collateral in coordination with the DRC marketing committee and the Brand Management design teamGather information and write content as requestedAttend OSU arts-related meetings as assigned and provide any DRC updates as neededAssist the Brand Management team with various projects including research, website updates and migrationsAssist the Director with all communications, including email, phone calls, and mailingAdministrative support duties for the DRC Advisory Committee, as assigned by the DirectorOther duties as assigned Special Instructions to Applicants Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional references for consideration. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, PR, Public Affairs, Marketing, Creative Writing or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in communications, including, but not limited to social media, web, writing, editing and content creation.
