Overview:
The Marketing Analytics & Email Manager is responsible for driving strategy across marketing campaigns and ensuring data-driven decisions enhance the overall strategy. Oversees all data management requests, analyses, and deliverables for the department. Prepares data plan to align with marketing campaigns and promotions. Responsible for using analytics and visualizations to create compelling narratives that will drive decision-making in accordance with strategic goals. This position will be responsible for overseeing strategic creation and data-driven decisions for the Marketing team, ensuring alignment with the organizational strategy and goals. Will lead MCU’s email marketing strategies and deliverables. This role is responsible for defining and executing the vision for email marketing strategies and campaigns, ensuring it aligns with Marketing and the overall organization goals. Oversee email marketing campaigns from end to end, manage email databases and lists, and provide reports on performance to key stakeholders. Defines and implements email marketing strategy with the end goal of deepening our relationship with existing members. Develop member engagement strategies for the email channel that reflect an understanding of member needs and intent.
Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide collaborative team support in advancing strategic communications goals in alignment with MCU’s core mission, vision, and values
- Maintain an ongoing pulse of the vision of our organizational strategy in relation to marketing strategy.
- Ongoing collaboration with leadership to evaluate, manage, and execute on Marketing strategy as it correlates to the organization's strategy.
- Implements new analysis as needed to create forward-thinking strategy. Ensure all programs and campaigns created by Marketing align with the organization.
- Establish KPI and ROI goals and create reporting and dashboards for key initiatives. Leverage data to support marketing strategy and articulate compelling business cases.
- Create baseline reporting, utilizing automated analytics, to measure markets, product penetration, and promotions to identify areas of business opportunity. Implements strategy for targeting and segmentation to support the organization's goals.
- Responsible for the overarching direction of the email program, including strategy, execution of campaigns, implementing personalization and segmentation strategies, promotions and overall email performance.
- Supports key priorities of lead generation, re-engagement, customer acquisition and retention. Communicate Marketing strategy to all stakeholders in terms of detail and level of engagement applicable to audience.
- Oversees data and analysis for the marketing department, including but not limited to: list generation, data analysis, recommendations based on data analysis, forecast reporting, and ad hoc requests from departments/Executives.
- Maintain ongoing business relationships with key partners, vendors, and consultants for data analytics, marketing research, and targeting/segmentation data.
- Provide ongoing strategic and analytical support to executives and business owners as needed and requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 5+ years creating and deploying email marketing campaigns.
- Experience with email service providers such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a plus.
- Expert in Excel and manipulating data. Dashboards, preferably PowerBI, Raddon MCIF, and Claritas P$ycle Segment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
