Job Description
- Cleans all equipment , tanks, and vessels as needed
- Follows all safety procedures and S.O.P’s
- Transfers finish product into drums, and totes to complete orders
- Weighs chemicals for batching
- Returns chemicals to inventory in clean condition and with proper weights
- Sets up and monitors all mixing tanks, vessels, and mixers
- Obtains all documentation for batching products
- Operates all equipment including tanks, mixers, scales, meters, pump, etc.
- Completes all paperwork in a timely manner
- Submits finished product samples to the lab for approval
- Communicates with production when batches are complete and ready to fill
- Monitors all temperatures on batches
- Operates tow motor and assists with warehouse stocking, as needed
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in a compounding or mixing environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to read and execute both written and oral instructions including safety rules, operating procedures, batch recipes and material identification.
- Basic mathematical skills are required: must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, as well as making necessary conversions.
- Able to handle 55 gallon drums and powder bags up to 60 lbs.
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must have solid prior experience operating a tow motor, a sit-down as well as a stand-up.
- Must have basic computer skills
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- At times a hot dusty environment
- Must be able to repeatedly lift weights up or equal to 60 lbs.
- 95% of the day you will be on your feet
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am+/- to 3:30 pm+/-
Wage: $20.00-$24.00/Hour depending on experience
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
