Market Research Consultant - eCommerce Focus (Full-Time 40hrs/week)
eye square, an internationally respected implicit Market Research firm, is expanding our team in the US. We are looking to hire an experienced Market Research Consultant based in the United States to support several of our American clients.
In your role as a member of eye square’s Shopper Research team, your focus will be on conducting digital research projects using our innovative quantitative tools to ensure our clients’ success online. You will be working primarily with US-based FMCG clients. More traditional shopper insights topics including packaging design and in-store research may also come across your desk occasionally. As an early hire in our US expansion, this role offers the opportunity for substantial career development for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities include:
- Project management of research projects – primarily quantitative, occasionally qualitative
- Acting as the first point of contact for US-based clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborating with other team members on study design
- Questionnaire design & programming
- Sample design
- Interpretation of data, as well as synthesizing and visualizing findings in final reports
- Extracting insights and actionable recommendations for our clients Presentation of final results to clients and stakeholders

- A once-yearly trip to Berlin to work alongside your colleagues face-to-face for up to two weeks The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location in the US
- 2 - 5 years of Market Research experience
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Academic and/or professional experience with statistics; facility with a syntax-based analysis program such as R, Stata, or SPSS preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills. You will need to communicate directly with clients, manage your own workload, document details of each study for alignment with the Berlin team.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once, while proactively anticipating barriers or obstacles and finding solutions to ensure project success
- Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the eCommerce sector and digital trends
- You enjoy problem-solving, are full of curiosity, and have an entrepreneurial spirit
