What You Will Be Doing
As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor Sr you will be responsible for:

• Supervising more than one functional area of manufacturing.
• Sets priorities as required in support of meeting production schedules.
• Responsible for Quality, Cost, and Schedule performance.
• Supervision of Union Represented employees.
• Interfaces with Union Stewards on personnel issues.
• Oversees, monitors, and documents employee training, and compliance.
• Adheres to company business practices/ethics policies.
• Effectively interfacing with a variety of internal and external customers.
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as attendance verification and time charging.
• Responsible for team's productivity while adhering to safety standards.
• Responsible for transition of work requirements between shifts.
• Manage direct and indirect budget.
• Effectively resolve daily problems and develop action plans.
• Drives Continuous Improvement throughout areas.
• Ability to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime and or weekends as required
• Must be able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and be flexible.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Aerospace manufacturing/productions methodologies &/or Aircraft maintenance
• Experience in managing a team using tools, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule,&/or quality)

Desired Skills:

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels.
• Knowledge on collective bargaining agreement and dealing with hourly/union employees.
• Operate in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, SAP, and Solumina
• Strong manufacturing background in parts manufacturing.
• Demonstrated skills with lean manufacturing techniques.
• Well-rounded knowledge of Quality systems
• Strong organizational skills.
• Previous Sikorsky experience
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machine shop manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing supervisory experience in a Union environment
• Coatings experience
• Finishes background
• BA degree or equivalent experience/combined education in related field of study.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
