Job Description
- Supervise and lead a team of manufacturing staff, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve departmental goals.
- Monitor and assess daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, including compounding, quality assurance, and warehouse, to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.
- Maintain and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist logistics with component inventory to ensure timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and facilitate process enhancements.
- Assist team memebers on production lines as needed.
- Read and accurately interpret job reports, spreadsheets, production schedules, etc.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand 8+ hours a day, and lift up to 55 Lbs. as needed.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar operations supervisory role, preferably within the manufacturing or order supply chain industry.
- Bachelors degree in related field, preferred.
- Lean Sigma Six certification is a bonus.
- Previous manufacturing experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, logistics, cGMP, and supply chain management.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Proficient use of Google software systems and other ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am+/- to 3:30 pm+/-.
Wage: $22.00-$25.00/Hour depending on experience.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
