AddressAs a Supervisor for Maintenance Water Quality, you will provide supervision for the Water Quality staff who are responsible for maintaining Water Quality and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the filtration/sanitation systems within Cedar Point Shores, Castaway Bay, 19 resort pools and spas, Snake River Falls, and ponds located within Cedar Point.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that equipment is tested in accordance to prescribed schedules.
- Ensure that Water Quality is tested in accordance to prescribed schedules and with in legal operating parameters.
- Develop weekly staffing schedules, perform weekly chemical inventory, monitor the safety of guests and co-workers.
- Training of new associates and continue training of current associates.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be safety conscious, and able to interpret written and verbal instruction
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must have strong leadership and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Ohio Department of Agriculture pool laws and CPO preferred but not required
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
