Job Summary:
The Maintenance Engineer (Co-Op) will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Technicians to assist in the troubleshooting, designing and development of process needs to optimize operational functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides support and basic troubleshooting for operations.
- Assist in the reading / drawing of piping, mechanical, and electrical schematics.
- Engraving identification labels.
- Drawing lockout procedures.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
- Preventative and predictive maintenance experience.
- Programming / PLC experience.
- Basic mechanical / electrical experience.
- Current enrollment in an engineering program is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is preferred.
- Self-starter / Initiative

- Motivated
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Much time is spent assisting more experienced maintenance technicians.
- Excellent organizational skills (Inventory control).
- Layout skills (Drawing existing equipment).
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Provide necessary papers allowing holder to work legally in the United States.
