Job Description
Mueller Refrigeration is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate development and support of manufacturing processes to promote efficiency, safety, quality and best use of resources.
Essential responsibilities include
Designs work flow, and coordinates the development of production assembly and machining equipment.
Plans and establishes sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble products and to promote efficient utilization of resources.
Performs work measurement, including time studies, for the establishment of standards.
Ensures that the process meets functional requirements at the lowest possible cost
Analyzes statistical data and product specifications to promote quality and reliability of finished product
Drafts layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to promote maximum safety and efficiency
Reviews production schedules, engineering specifications, orders and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods procedures, and activities
Provides material, labor, and overhead cost estimates
Specifies equipment needs, obtains cost information, and writes justification for new equipment
Coordinates production launch of new products and processes
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
