As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of our products and increase productivity.
- Lead and participate in Six Sigma projects to improve process capability and reduce defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Design and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment to support new product introductions.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
- Train and mentor production personnel on manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading and participating in Six Sigma projects.
- Experience with process design and improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.
