Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the development, engineering, and manufacturing of products in Houston, TX with quality standards that exceed customer expectations. This position will also assist in the planning, design, and manufacturing of new products as needed by the business.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development of manufacturing processes and equipment to meet customer requirements.
- Development of quality standards and procedures to ensure that products are produced in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Assists in the planning, design, and manufacturing of new products as needed by the business.
- Creates and maintains a wide variety of reports on current and future operations.
- Develops production plans based on customer requirements and forecasts based on actual data.
- Reviews designs for accuracy, completeness, and proper fit.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; or equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials; and good understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
