Premier Machining Services is a small family business in Houston, TX. We have been in business for 30 years and we specialize in the manufacturing of small metal parts for the energy sector. Our goal is to Find a 1st class Manual Lathe and Mill Machinist.
Our work environment includes:
- Modern office setting
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual lathe and milling machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve machining issues
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong machining skills, including turning, drilling, and milling operations
- Proficient in basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.02 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
