CNC Manual Machinist II

- Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00pm
Our client, one of the largest line pipe distributors in the United States is looking for a reliable CNC Manual Machinist.
As a CNC Manual Lathe operator will calibrate and operate a manual lathe machine which is used to cut, sand, drill, and turn materials.
Your New Role:
As a CNC Manual Machinist II, you will inspect their workstation to ensure the machine is in working order.
What You Will Do:
- Set up and operate lathe to perform machining operations; turning, boring, threading, and facing
- On metal workpieces; castings, forgings and bar stock according to specifications
- Read blue prints, job orders, tooling instructions and charts
- Operator will be responsible for operation of machine
- Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery
What You Need:
- Capable of interpreting blue prints
- Able to do basic mill set ups
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
- 1 - 3 years’ experience working with machines
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
