Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual milling machines and lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy of parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role
- Proficient in operating milling machines and lathes
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and their usage
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Pay: $21.86 - $35.00 per hour
