Manger of Financial Planning and Analysis

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. Financial Analyst. Location is flexible.
The Financial analyst will be part of an FPA team, and supporting the reporting of Financial reports and ad hoc analysis. Developing and executing overall WSP USA budgeting and forecasting process. This person will work with various departments including corporate and operational functions to develop and roll up an annual budget and quarterly forecasting plans. This includes budgeting income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, DSO , DPO, Capex and many more. Assist in creating presentations and reports to the WSP headquarters in Canada. The Financial Analyst will utilize financial data in order to make informed decisions and will compile, analyze, and disseminate financial reports as needed.
Your Impact

• Create and distribute weekly financial proforma depicting current performance along with forecasting end of month financial KPI's
• Month end duties including but not limited to, entering financial close figures into HFM, reporting/aggregating financial metrics from recent acquisitions (not currently on our ERP financial system), maintaining SQL database dimensional tables
• Gather and organize financial data from various financial data center and/or departments
• Assist in leading the overall company annual budget, quarterly forecasting process
• Compile and analyze financial reports
• Forecast models for revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases
• Perform ad hoc analyses as needed
• Additional adhoc analysis depending on the department and business needs
• Month End comparative reporting against established Targets
• Weekly snapshots of performing P&Ls
• Various P&L & Balance Sheet related KPI tracking and reporting
• Month end consolidation / reporting of the US business
• SQL usage for data gathering and Analysis
• Develop analytical dashboards in powerBI
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

Who You Are
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge / experience on Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
• Knowledge / experience with forecasting balance sheet, cash flow, DSO
• Experience with Oracle, specifically project and labor experience
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, work independently, and comply with company policies
• Proficiency with MS Excel, pivot tables, formulas, data format/sort/filter, VLOOKUP, predictive models, and tools.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply learned subject matter and technical knowledge to reach conclusions from data collation, documentation, and statistical analysis
• This is a professional role and as such work deadlines and work hours may extend beyond a typical workday

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Oracle - Hyperion a plus
• Experience using Power BI a plus
• Experience using SQL for data analysis a plus

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $69,600 - $110,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
Expected Salary (Colorado only): $80,700 - $110,000
