Overview
We are looking for an experienced and qualified tax manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for building and molding tax planning initiatives and changes to domestic and international tax laws. The candidate will be analyzing, but not limited to, the impact of GILTI, BEAT, Foreign tax credit, and Pillar Two. The Candidate will also support the tax provision and compliance process.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Builds and maintains models to quantify the tax cost or savings of various business plans and tax planning initiatives
- Responsible for modeling potential tax accounting and tax return implications of proposed changes to domestic and international tax laws, including the OECD Pillar Two rules
- Analyze and model the legal entity impact of intercompany transactions
- Assist on special projects and ad hoc request from leadership
- Develop and interpret models related to methods, research and development credit, fixed assets, transactions, etc
- Support the tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Maintain and track tax basis in foreign corporate entities.
- Maintain and track inventory of current transactions.
- Creates and maintains schedules of post-tax reform global tax attributes of controlled foreign corporations (including E&P, tax basis, PTI) and providing quantitative support to international tax team in evaluating potential strategies to optimize post- US tax reform structure, e.g., through modeling the impact of potential restructurings on GILTI and BEAT
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in US international and federal tax, preferably in a multinational corporation or a professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of US income tax laws and regulations as well as international tax principles and standards.
- Strong research and analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to develop and maintain complex tax models.
- Strong knowledge of US international tax issues, including foreign tax credits, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, DCLs, etc.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience working with large data sets using various tools, including (but not limited to) MS Excel.
Preferred Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master in Taxation designation is preferred.
- Experience working with Power Query, Power BI, and Tableau.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
