Position Summary
Essential Duties
- Define and direct the trajectory, execution, and integration of advanced Risk & Research Core Platforms.
- Lead and nurture the Risk & Research Core Systems team, focusing on recruiting, retaining, and developing top technical talent.
- Collaborate seamlessly with enterprise technology functions and Risk & Research teams, aligning efforts to achieve strategic goals across Risk & Research, Technology, and Operations.
- Steer the evolution of development and operational practices that underpin the Risk & Research Platform, while actively contributing to product development strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering
- 8+ years of hands-on enterprise engineering experience, with 2+ years in leadership
- 5 years of engagements within the financial industry, preferably with a focus on asset management
- 5+ years leading design in key technologies: C#, .NET, Python, SQL, with a good grasp of DevSecOps
- 3+ years’ proven track record managing Agile projects
- 2+ years spearheading cloud-driven product strategies on MS Azure, and Snowflake, with mastery in IAC and PAC principles

- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, adeptly tackling intricate software challenges, especially in finance
- Prioritize effectively, delivering results for timely and budgeted platform enhancements
- Communicate adeptly across technical and non-technical teams, as well as senior management
- Quickly grasp and master new finance concepts and technologies, staying aligned with industry trends
- Collaborate seamlessly within cross-functional teams, leading development while offering technical mentorship
Desired Qualifications
- Desirable qualifications may encompass certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), or similar project management certifications
- Optional Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a quantitative field
- Notable expertise in Domain Modeling for Investment Systems, especially in Fixed Income and Derivatives
