Position Overview:
Regional Sales Manager establishes sales relationships with existing and prospective customers through industry and product knowledge deploying a solutions-based approach. Also, achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration in West Texas by effectively selling environmental control equipment for the oil & gas upstream and midstream sectors (flares, enclosed combustors, vapor recovery units, etc.). The successful candidate will have well-established industry connections and reside in their territorial area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Establishes, fosters, and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the company’s products and services.
- Makes telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers at corporate and/or field headquarters.
- Navigates within organizations to influence decision makers using technical, commercial, and solutions-based skills and experience.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers information to determine their potential.
- The ability to gather market intelligence in the upstream oil & gas market including competitors.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong bias toward action.
- Expedites the resolution of customer challenges and concerns.
- Ability to execute corporate sales strategy at highest levels within current and prospective customers.
- Plans and organizes personal sales strategy.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and the potential for new products and services.
- Supports organizational success with timely communication and coordination with other sales team members.
- Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities and advertising and promotional trend through the reading or pertinent literature.
- Participate in trade shows and conventions.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- 3 years sales experience in oil & gas upstream and midstream environmental control equipment and services.
- Valid driver’s license: position requires some travel, mostly driving.
- Demonstrated maturity to work independently and in front of groups.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
