The Manager of Professional Developmentis the lead role in professional career development.
Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and continuous improvement of a comprehensive training strategy ensuring strategic alignment of training and development with business goals
- Assess needs, design and implement learning programs that foster positive career development, organizational performance, and employee retention
- Design and develop a comprehensive communication strategy for training and development programs
- Utilize metrics to validate knowledge transfer and measure ROI
- Identify and work with applicable consultants such as leadership and technology
- Learning Management System selection, development and maintenance
- Create process and system for formal employee succession planning
- Align and integrate with Performance Management system
- Research and managing all aspects of training grants such as IWTP
- Manage Cajun’s Intern Program
- Recruit & hire
- Active participation in CIAC and CSA
- Oversee onboarding
- Assignment of interns to Business Units & Rotation Schedule
- Engage Business Unit Intern Coordinators and Mentors to ensure maximizing program
- Foster frequent communication with interns
- Seek feedback from interns and operations on program performance & make adjustments when appropriate
- Scheduling coordinating intern events
- Monitor market for intern best practices, pipeline sources, and compensation
- Intern evaluations & compensation adjustments
- Plan and oversee full-time offer process upon upcoming graduation dates
- Responsible for managing new employee experience through the Professional Development Specialist including new hire onboarding training and Accelerated Onboarding programs
- Work with HR team to promote and create engagement with our Employee Growth Program (EGP)
- Oversee Cajun programs including: Cajun 360, Uncommon Leadership, True Growth Academy, YP (Young Professionals), New Employee Mentoring Programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or related field
- Master’s degree in Learning Management, Human Resource Development or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in the professional learning and development field
- Experience with eLearning design with expertise in technical development, implementation, and troubleshooting of web-based training modules
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong consultative approach
- Ability to effectively conduct training
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Tech savvy with ability to quickly learn custom software programs
