Job description

Title:Manager of Customer Service

Department: Customer ServiceFLSA classification: Non-exempt X Exempt

Reports to: CEO Position status: X Full-time Part-time

Supervises Others: X Yes No Pay Range: $95,000 - $125,000

Job Description Summary:

Overseeing the daily operations of Customer Service and service needs. The duties include communicating Customer Service objectives to all Customer Service subdepartments, compiling data to make assessments of the department’s progress, developing strong relationships with customers, and coordinating with upper management ways to enhance their Customer Service and service objectives.

Specific Job Duties:

· Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve customer targets

· Create and communicate customer goals to CEO and regularly report on the progress of those goals; Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals

· Setting goals for team members and helping them reach those goals; Generating and reviewing reports and surveys to monitor progress; Coach and mentor field service employees on a regular basis with regards to efficiency, productivity and rework.

  • Manage the evaluation, allocation, and management of physical and financial resources and administer the hiring, development/training, management, evaluation, and effective assignment of people resources.

· Maintain relationships with CMS NA & CMS SpA for service, commission, and parts department

  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to proactively understand their business objectives and needs

· Interacting with customers and handling customer queries and complaints in a timely manner

· Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes; Staying current on the latest industry trends and techniques

· Maintain a pipeline to fill customer needs; Create a reliable customer loyalty program

  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary Customer Service.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Education/Skills/Physical Job Requirements:

  • High school and/or technical school education; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is preferred

· A minimum of five (5) years of progressive Customer Service experience

· A minimum of two (2) years of experience supervising/managing others

· Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate the team

· Excellent oral and written communication skills; Strong Customer Service skills

· Ability to plan and execute strong strategies

· Experience with fixing machine issues and/or possess technical knowledge of CNC machinery is preferred

  • Have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

· Ability to sit, stand for long periods of time. Able to lift up to 25 lbs. Able to bend over frequently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $7,916.00 - $10,416.00 per month
