WMC MARKETING OPERATIONS
Marketing Operations are the owners of Marketing Program Management, Ways of Working, Process Mapping, Tools, Budget & Headcount and Creative Operations. We are a team comprised of project managers, program managers, business operations and ways of working experts. Our scope spans all x-functional teams within marketing, WMC, and WMT teams.
JOB OVERVIEW
This particular role within the Marketing Operations team will be focused on Program Management. As the Program Manager supporting the Client Solutions and Omni Capabilities workstreams you will be critical to the success of 1W integrated projects. You'll be building out clear 1W schedules for the WMC marketing team to leverage and ensuring those teams are adopting Workfront to manage their projects.
You'll be working with Walmart Marketing's project managers to align on schedules, negotiate timing, and then build that timing in Workfront for our teams. You'll partner with the lead marketer to kick off the project and walk the teams through timing. You will proactively look at programs for the year.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
-Has experience with complex timelines with multiple stakeholders
-High EQ-read the room/zoom
-You have project managed campaigns before, so you understand the milestones, but can see bigger picture here to see how timelines and processes intersect
- Workfront Tool Experience
-Is highly skilled at using Workfront for project managing marketing integrated timelines
-Knows how to set up Workfront for reporting and dashboards
-Has been an advocate of Workfront and can help guide the marketing team on it's usage
Ideally this candidate comes from Advertising Agencies working on complex marketing campaigns. Also could come from an E-Commerce company or big Brand/Marketing organization in a company where complex marketing timelines had to be mapped out.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
-Own the overall planning timelines in Workfront for all 1W projects and ensure WMC is kicking off key milestones in time.
-Work closely with the Walmart Project Manager and Operations team to ensure WMC timelines are integrated into a holistic schedule.
-Ensure WMC Marketing teams are adopting Workfront for these 1W projects.
-Be proactive in gathering timing for all upcoming workstreams that hit the Client Solutions teams: strategic workstreams, 1W workstreams, W+, Innovation etc.
-Create a way for leaders to have visibility of all the upcoming projects/programs.
-Escalate and flag in there are any timing concerns.
-Ensure any new ways of working that are defined are taken into account into the schedules.
-Kick off project with lead marketer and walk teams through timing for all programs. Modify schedule where necessary.
-Streamline operations for the Client Solutions teams and leading necessary cross-functional and team meetings. -Drive Workfront for CS/OC reporting and dashboards.
-Be the subject matter expert on Workfront for CS/OC team and help guide the marketing team on it's usage throughout the program.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience in project management /Program Management
-Knowledge of creative marketing campaign process and has worked with creative teams or agencies in the past
-Workfront project management tool experience
-Extremely detail oriented and organized in thought and execution
-Ability to set and communicate clear expectations
-Ability to understand and thrive in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to work effectively and achieve results in ambiguous situations -High EQ

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations
