Job Description:
Responsible for a variety of financial and systems management duties surrounding the planning, analysis and reporting functions. This includes completing month end actuals processing, monthly forecasts, the annual operating plan/process (AOP), variance analysis, data consolidation and special projects. Partner with the Division and Center FP&A teams to provide actionable business analytics and fact-based recommendations that will help deliver business results. The Manager, Finance is responsible for acting as a liaison between Finance and IT in implementing, maintaining and updating the TreeHouse financial reporting and planning systems that support the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
• Responsible for supporting actual, forecast, earnings release, board and plan reporting.
• Supporting the business in the development of new or changes to financial processes and reports.
• Act as a point of contact for Financial Systems and processes, working as a conduit between finance, IT and the Business Units and support functions as required.
• Contribute to the delivery of the Financial Accounting and Reporting organizational goals through close work with the team. and across other areas of Finance and the business ensuring outputs are robust and completed in a timely manner.
• Participate, lead or guide the successful implementation of small, or low/medium complexity local projects, sub-projects or phases of a larger projects.
• Develop a good working knowledge of key business processes and application of accounting principles; act as a subject matter expert for any queries relating to Financial Systems and processes.
• Provide formal and informal training on financial concepts and systems to finance and cross functional team members
• Other special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems required
• Five plus years of experience in financial analysis and data management
• Experience with P&L management
• Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; enjoys investigating problems, and coming up with solutions
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams as well as independent setting
• Systems and Tools: proficiency managing and making recommendations for efficiencies with systems and tools
• Requires strong verbal and written communication
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
• BPC, Hyperion Planning, or similar system experience
• Experience with SAP, or other ERP system (business intelligence)
