Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Manager, Finance Systems will support the Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) and financial accounting processes across the FOX Corporation.
Manager, Finance Systems is responsible for reviewing requests for updates to the Workday FDM, managing the finance system closures, troubleshooting accounting questions from across the organization and assisting with projects to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Workday platform. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders across multiple FOX divisions and corporate finance. Engage with divisional and corporate finance teams to understand their requests and align solutions within the existing corporate governance structure.
This opportunity requires in-depth understanding of Financial Accounting and processes, including financial close, preferably in the Media and Entertainment Industries. Experience with Workday Financials, Reporting Tools, and Foundation Data Model (FDM) is preferable.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong communication skills
- Assist divisional finance teams with troubleshooting financial accounting issues
- Monitor and manage the finance system closures
- Support divisional finance teams with the close process
- Review change requests to the Foundation Data Model (FDM) and determine if the change is compliant with the existing corporate financial structure
- Support corporate finance with internal and external reporting requirements
- Engage with the finance community on a regular basis to understand opportunities and pain points
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- CPA (or in the examination/licensing process) preferred
- Big 4 Accounting preferred
- 6-8 years in public accounting or other relevant experience
- Experience with a Financial Systems platform with detailed understanding of underlying Financial Accounting and FDM (preferably Workday)
- Experience troubleshooting Financial Accounting or FDM (preferably Workday) issues
- Ability to present to leaders regarding creative solutions to business processes
- Ability to think “outside the box”
- Flexibility to manage consultants across multiple time zones and support of concurrent complex projects

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-133,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
