First-year TOTAL compensation package for the role could be up to $155k (salary, bonus, co. pension contribution) plus corporate-assisted relocation, role reports to the Plant Manager. The Safety, Health & Environmental Manager will lead the facility in safety and environmental initiatives at the Dallas manufacturing plant and will take safety programs from the implementation stage to integration, providing superior training and partnering with the leadership team and front line associates to influence change while achieving a commitment to a culture of safety among employees. Partnering with plant leadership you will drive sustainability initiatives to decrease utilization of energy and improve recycling. As the key representative to outside agencies you will also drive compliance with regulatory and environmental permits. The EH&S Manager will be responsible for overall building appearance, cleanliness, comfort, functionality, safety and security. In this TPM environment this change agent will gain recognition from supply chain management & expect to take on additional projects and responsibility to impact overall company SH&E initiatives. • Bachelor’s Degree in safety, engineering, environmental or related discipline a MUST. • Several years related experience with a few years in a EHS role in a manufacturing facility • Experience managing internal/external audits and good working knowledge of EPA, PSM, OSHA, NFPA, or related regulations • Proven experience as a team member or leader in obtaining superior safety results With plants located near major metropolitan areas across N/A, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Greensboro, Toronto and more, as well as sites in Europe, Asia and Latin and South America, looking for a EH&S leader who can deliver exceptional products, safely and efficiently, to customers. You’ll lead a team of approximately four direct reports in a 24/7, 3 shift union operation. Base salary to $140k/yr. plus bonus and company contribution to 401K and pension plan with tuition reimbursement.
