- Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
- Travel: May involve travel to offsite locations for training purposes.
What you will do:
This position is responsible for developing, managing and evaluating all aspects of Patient Access across Rehab services in the south region. This position will work closely with Director of Rehab services and -Outpatient manager of Rehab services. Direct reports include call center, insurance verification, and PSR Lead. Indirect reports include Rehab clinic Patient Service Representatives. Partnering with ISS, finance, physician office and administrative personnel to create a seamless Patient Access experience in all Rehab Service areas. Overseeing all aspects of the patient scheduling and registration experience, developing plan for improvement, implementing, monitoring and evaluating system changes, program enhancements and resources to provide for the delivery of complete and accurate registrations, patient customer service, documentation and payment collection at time of service. Responsible for developing system Patient Access scorecard to track, monitor and report access across the Rehab Services. Reviewing changes in third party payor insurance practices and recommends changes in Rehab Services procedures.

- Minimum of three years' previous supervisory experience in Patient Access required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Management, or a related field. MBA, a plus.
- EPIC experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of two years call center experience
- Minimum of two years experience performing insurance verification
- Competent in MS office, Cisco, Visio, Webex messaging
- Strong preference for Rehab scheduling experience (>3 years preferred)
- A relatively high level of communication and interpersonal skills
- A relatively high level of analytical ability
