The Day Student Manager works to ensure that non-boarding students are actively engaged within the IMG Academy community. This person will oversee communication and compliance of IMG policies specific to day student athletes.
Job Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with Day Students and parents to ensure is relevant information is disseminated.
• Collaborate with Student Life, Student Engagement, Parent Relations and Deans departments to ensure day student-athletes are supported and engaged in on-campus activities.
• Ensure families are compliant with residency requirements and all other policies related to day student athletes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments such as sport, academics, health services, etc.
• Manage and maintain all rules and policies specific to day student-athletes.
• Ensures compliance of Incident Reporting for all day student-athletes.
• Track and analyze campus engagement of day student athletes, making adjustments where necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with residential life, education, sports, summer camps or secondary school.
• Must possess good judgment and sensitivity relating to students of various backgrounds.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively with colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and with sensitivity.
• Ability to deescalate heightened situations.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• A superior work ethic.
• Proficient with computer and computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in related area
• Experience in a high-pressure, academic/performance setting.
• Bilingual.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Experience as student-athlete
• Experience in boarding school setting.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
• Must be able to move around residence hall, including stairs
• Ability to spend long periods of time on their feet, walking, standing, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
