THE ROLE
As the Manager of Creative Services, you will be a key player within our Legends Global Partnerships Team, responsible for driving the management of creative initiatives, design projects, and content development. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the partnership sales and corporate teams, ensuring our creative endeavors align seamlessly with overarching business objectives.
Your expertise will be pivotal in generating innovative and impactful creative solutions tailored specifically for our partners. With top-notch design skills and a keen eye for detail, you will set the standard for excellence, ensuring that every aspect of our creative output meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collateral design for the Partnerships teams as they approach various markets for Global opportunities.
- Serve as the project manager for sales and partnerships creative requests: ensure deadlines are met, keep projects up to date in software, communicate with team.
- Design custom mock-ups for how a partnership space could come to life.
- Design custom partnership sales decks that are story-driven and use multimedia.
- Create infographics and graphic design elements for outreach campaigns.
- Identify, develop, and implement new and innovative partnership marketing opportunities and strategies focused on increasing brand awareness.
- Communicate directly with partnerships executives, project-based teams, and internal teams to ensure the brand guidelines are met in all collateral representing Legends and our clients.
- Manage relationships with internal and third-party vendors and resources.
- Work with Creative Director on other content needed for projects, such as outreach campaigns, one-sheeters, micro-sites, video production, etc.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Degree in Marketing, Design, or a related industry.
- 4+ years as a full-time or part-time marketing or creative professional with a strong desire to grow creative skills independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of sports and/or brand marketing, branding, sponsorship, and client services.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficiency in Apple Keynote and PowerPoint.
- Video editing experience is a plus.
- Comfortable presenting to the organization and project leadership.
- Highly motivated self-starter, with strategic thinking and personal leadership skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and executioner.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively with internal sales and management teams.
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
- Ability to take constructive criticism and change direction based on feedback.
- Great attitude, willingness to take on other duties that may not fall within the outlined job description.
COMPENSATION
Base salary range $70,000 - $80,000 + Bonus Potential, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Location: Hybrid/Corporate Office (Candidate Can be located in New York, NY; Culver City, CA; Frisco, TX; Chicago, IL)
