Director for Student Financial Services (Bursar’s Office)

- CFS is working with a global educational institution and they are seeking to hire their next Director for Student Financial Services working in the Bursar’s Office.
- This role is essential to the organization and will have high visibility and interact with Senior Level Staff.
- They will be overseeing 2-3 staff members and will not only oversee and train but also work hands on alongside of them

Key Responsibilities of the Director of Student Financial Services include:
- Monitor and manage student accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving any billing discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for optimizing financial resources
- Collaborate with Student Services to address student inquiries related to financial matters.
- Assisting with implementation and other IT activities
- Lead the development of the team
- Additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications of the Director of Student Financial Services include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles.
- At least 3 years working for an Educational organization in particular with the Bursar’s office
- Someone who is tech savvy and looking at ways to automate, improve systems and not afraid to bring ideas to the table to make things more efficient
