CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION
The Creative ServicesProduction Coordinator acts as the hub of the Creative Services wheel. This candidate will assist the Creative Services Team in fulfilling all required labor and materials for each project, and will directly assist the Director of Production with the management of congruent projects. The Production Coordinator will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the Company and a favorable image of the Company.
Reports to: Director of Production - CRS
Reporting Responsibility: Director of Production - Creative Services, CRS Project Managers, and Finance.
Key Accountabilities:
- The creation and confirmation of Crew Calls as directed by Project Managers, and Creative Services Director of Production.
- Sourcing and purchasing of construction materials, including lumber, metal, hardware, and finishing materials as directed by Project Managers.
- Coordinate Purchase Orders and company Amex reports.
- Assist the Director of Production with profitability reconciliation.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Efficiently organize one’s daily scheduled activities while prioritizing workload as it relates to secured projects.
- Act as an internal extension of Project Managers and Build Leads as assistance is needed. This may include attending site visits, gathering quotes from vendors, or overseeing the packing of a project onto a truck.
- Clearly communicate details and changes that arise between the conceptual and physical build stages to the Project Manager and Director of Production
- Material Sourcing:
- Crew Assembly.
- Meeting Facilitation:
- Marketing.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills: Must be able to read complex and detailed notes and be able to ensure all instructions have been met.
- Highly organized across multiple systems with the flexibility to jump between projects as needed.
- Must be punctual, have great attendance, and highly attuned to strict deadlines
- Detail oriented with ability to adopt and embrace existing systems of organizations
- Flexible: Ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities
- Desire to learn, develop, grow skill sets, and advance within the company
- Ability to travel when required
- Required 2-5 years experience in events, an agency setting, scenic, carpentry, or related field.
- A working knowledge of the following systems a plus:
- Google Office Suite
- Copper CRM software
- Flex Rental Solutions
- Ability to read and follow directions, blueprints/schematics, and renderings or sketches
