Job DescriptionPosition Summary
Reports to the Director of Business Affairs. Responsible for all bidding and estimating of assigned production jobs. Prepares Production estimates and in-house estimates for proposed projects. Negotiates with Production, Editorial and Music companies. Interface with Clients and their Cost/Production Consultants.
Principal Responsibilities
Internal: Interacts with Producers, Creatives, Account Management, Financial Team and Legal department.
Financial Responsibilities: Approves all production invoices. Actualize or supervise the actualization of all production jobs and approves the closing of all jobs.
Job Responsibilities
- Ballparks – Should be done in advance to ensure that client funds are in-house prior to awarding the production
- Knowledge of client production guidelines and their adherence, including Production Consultants
- Reviews production & editorial specs (Producer generates)
- Reviews AICP and AICE (production and editorial bids) with producers
- Reviews bids with Production Consultants along with Producers
- Negotiate bids with producer and vendors
- Estimating. Develop estimate for client approval
- Contracting (in conjunction with the Associate Business Manager)
- Award Letters
- Agreements (Production contracts, Editorial, etc.)
- Insurance Documentation
- Approve Purchase Orders (PO) for Production, Editorial and any other PO that needs contracting
- Review and Approve all Invoices – Account Payable ((in conjunction with the Associate Business Manager)
- Production Cost Control – approve purchase orders and invoices
- Reviews all cost-changes and follows up with producers to get all the required approvals
- Talent knowledge (as it applies to sessions – union and non-union)
- Generates & Reviews final actuals with Producer and shares with Finance, and/or Client
Qualifications
Required: 5+ years’ experience as a Broadcast Business Manager at an Advertising Agency

Compensation Range: $73500 - $123500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
