SUMMARY: The Broiler Manager directs and coordinates the Broiler Operations to ensure the delivery of a quality product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide consultation and direction necessary to enable team to produce broilers.
- Perform duties in preparing and maintains, reviewing reports and following through on deviation from expected results.
- Direct strategic operational plans in broiler production.
- Direct team in carrying out approved grow out program.
- Prepare broiler production budget.
- Direct spray truck operations and the delivery of litter material to broiler farms.
- Cooperate with Catch and Live Haul team in scheduling catch and live haul operations.
- Manage the training of the Broiler team to continually improve knowledge skills in successful broiler grow out.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent & relevant experience
- 5+ years in poultry or related field
- Previous supervisory experience
- Preferred
- Previous Management experience
