Job Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager, you'll be responsible for performing daily tasks related to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations of the Accounts Receivable Department and our clients.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversees all AR operations.
- Establish and maintain A/R operating procedures and processes and effectively communicate to staff.
- Aligns resources to work assignments and processes to meet business requirements.
- Works closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide mutually beneficial solutions.
- Work effectively as a critical link in recognizing and collecting potential lost revenue via account auditing.
- Leads process improvement to maximize productivity and minimize re-work.
- Creatively solves problems, working collaboratively, in a positive manner.
- Ensures effective and efficient management reporting, on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, covering such areas as A/R Aging.
- Communicates and coordinates accounting policies, practices, and procedures with department and company managers and officials, clients and customers.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to A/R.
- Other duties as required.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions for the role
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years Accounts Receivable experience
- Three (3) years supervisory experience.
- Process orientation, analytical thinking ability, and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Word, Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to work within short deadlines.
- Proven critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment and decision making ability.
- Ability to work independently and be self driven, with ability to identify, plan and prioritize business opportunities
