Management Trainee - Part Time

Position Summary: Accommodate hotel guests by providing exceptional guest service. Cover shifts and provide additional leadership in key departments including front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant.

Duties:

• Set positive and professional example for other employees regarding appearance, enthusiasm, attitude, attendance and performance
• Understand and assist with managing group reservations, room blocks, manifests, special bill accounts, meal vouchers, group meal masters, and all functions related to group traffic and flow
• Greet and welcome tguests
• Check guests in, check guests out and provide front desk support
• Provide information about the features, services, facilities and amenities of the property
• Operate company vehicle
• Assist with transport of guests and luggage
• Assist the front desk as necessary
• Assist reservations as necessary
• Cover shifts for front desk staff, housekeepers, servers and food runners during absences
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, activities, local attractions, etc.
• Assist with planning, communicating and managing employee work requirements
• Assist with fine maintenance schedule and hotel inventory
• Oversee employees assuring adherence to policies and procedures
• Assist with attendance tracking and management
• Communicate with all hotel departments and shifts as need to meet guest’s needs and maintain smooth operation of hotel functions
• Observe health and safety precautions required to protect people, and hotel and guest property
• All other duties as assigned
