Job Description
Position Summary: Accommodate hotel guests by providing exceptional guest service. Cover shifts and provide additional leadership in key departments including front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant.
Duties:
- Set positive and professional example for other employees regarding appearance, enthusiasm, attitude, attendance and performance
- Understand and assist with managing group reservations, room blocks, manifests, special bill accounts, meal vouchers, group meal masters, and all functions related to group traffic and flow
- Greet and welcome tguests
- Check guests in, check guests out and provide front desk support
- Provide information about the features, services, facilities and amenities of the property
- Operate company vehicle
- Assist with transport of guests and luggage
- Assist the front desk as necessary
- Assist reservations as necessary
- Cover shifts for front desk staff, housekeepers, servers and food runners during absences
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, activities, local attractions, etc.
- Assist with planning, communicating and managing employee work requirements
- Assist with fine maintenance schedule and hotel inventory
- Oversee employees assuring adherence to policies and procedures
- Assist with attendance tracking and management
- Communicate with all hotel departments and shifts as need to meet guest’s needs and maintain smooth operation of hotel functions
- Observe health and safety precautions required to protect people, and hotel and guest property
- All other duties as assigned
